Park your boat or jet-ski at the dock and go fish, bicycle, use the paddle boat or take a hike on nearby trails and explore nature.

Don’t have a boat? We have watercraft for rental; paddle boats, canoes, kayaks, fishing boats w/ motors, 16ft pontoon boat, etc.

Just want to relax? Sit back and enjoy reading a book while sitting around a camp fire next to the lake on your private deck.

appliances, forced air furnace, Linens (upon request), TV, DVD player, kids games, private outside deck, gas grill, fire pit (wood bundles available for $5) and private boat launch.

Nearby are restaurants, sandy beach, shopping, ice cream, bars, Croton-Hardy Dams historical sites, hiking trails, American Legion, gas station, etc.

Sleeping accommodations include 1 queen bed, one double bed, a bunk bed style futon, and one twin bed.  (recommend 4 adults and 3-4 children)

Need more space for family and friends? This cottage can be rented in connection with Fish Tales or A Buckeye Breeze for a total of 21 people, perfect for that family reunion or wedding.

Things to know about what is near the Goose:
Rio Cafe - great Mexican Cafe.
Just past Rio on Right is the Driftwood Bar - summer time food on the deck is great!  Keep going on Croton Hardy Drive and you will see the little grocery store, a bank, and the Red Anchor Restaurant which has been great for everyone that we have sent there lately - check it out!
Just a bit further is an American Legion if you are a member.
If you go back toward Elm, you will see the Croton Bay Trading Post and that has Liquer, Beer, Bait, Gas and Pizza (weird combination, but it works!). 
On Elm is a great breakfast / coffee place called Hit the Road Joe - worth the short ride to it.
And you can always come into Newaygo (Turn Right out of Driveway, follow Croton Rd 8 Miles to M-37 and turn left - you will be in Newaygo.)  We have 24 hour grocery and some great shops, restaurants and coffee shops with wireless Internet.

Receive a $100 discount from daily rate chart for 7 nights or more stay

After 4 persons - there will be a $20 charge per night per additional adult, $10 additional charge per night per child (under 12)

 
$10 charge laundry fee per bed (sheets/blankets).  You have the option to bring your own bedding to save money.

$15 charge for each pet, per day
