
Veterans Memorial Park Located in the heart of downtown
Fremont, this park is designed to be actively used for a variety of events,
festivals and activities. Site features include and amphitheater, playground and
picnic areas.
Rules governing use of Veterans Memorial Park and
Amphitheater
• Park hours are 5:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. daily.
•
The city council will have ultimate authority over use of the Veterans Memorial
Park.
• Neither mechanized units nor motor driven vehicles should be allowed
to drive on or park in the grassy areas of the park, without specific advance
request and approval.
• Reservations:
o Families or
individuals for small gatherings need no reservation for General Park use. (This
includes picnic shelter and play area)
o Amphitheater reservations must be
made in writing no less than one month or more than six months, in advance of
the scheduled event.
General use of the Amphitheater:
o Fees: no fee shall be demanded for park use, excepts as follows: there
will be a fee to cover expenses of a person to ready the facility for an event.
This will include, unlocking, locking, pre-event, and post-event inspection.
o Restrooms are open from May 1 st - October 1 st , from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00
p.m. seven days per week.
o There will be a security deposit required to
insure park is kept in a neat, clean condition. A security deposit of $50.00
will be charged to have entire Amphitheater area made accessible for an event.
o If the total facility needs to be accessible, the caretaker/attendant will
be paid an hourly fee for attendant services.
o The attendant will be
responsible for calling in necessary auxiliary help
